How many take a position requesting high "kickbacks" in exchange for their management skills/decisions? How many put a bar in their contracts that say as long as they reach a certain level of their promises they get such and such? While I agree that management and owners should get a larger "wage" for they are investing their time and money to create a company that provides jobs or in the case of management keeps a company going or growing, I do not agree on the disparity between their contract and an average persons pay which include medical benefits, retirement funds, etc. But management is not completely innocent. Management has to satisfy those wants (not necessarily needs). Whether an individual or a board, they make the decisions on where they want their company to be. I look to management but more the owners. the worker is now a means to an end rather than a benefit to the company. The employee, domestic and international, have dropped in importance to the company.
According to documentaries I watched, he improved the lives of his american workers. However, was Capitalism meant to heighten the ones at the top and lessen the ones at the bottom. I get the model of supply and demand as well as the benefits of Capitalism.
